Learning a foreign language is difficult for everyone. But, as they say ‘language cannot be a barrier’, it becomes a lot easier if you start learning Greek in a more efficient way. Modern Greek is actually a southern dialect which is now spoken by most people throughout Greece, but it is also to be noted that in some parts of the country languages and dialects such as Turkish and Albanian are spoken.

English is also a widely spoken language in resorts and major cities in Greece, and it is widely taught in schools. However, in remote areas of Greece, it isn't so easy to find someone who speaks English. And unfortunately, many residents (which include mostly the British) make the least effort to learn more than a few words of Greek and live life as if they were on a brief holiday. Therefore, for anyone living in Greece, learning the Greek language should not at all be seen as an option, but rather considered a a necessity.
